Eco-tourists are trooping to this particular place due to the amazing views and all of the exciting local functions.  The shoreline of Apollo Bay is a really magnificent view; many people like driving along the streets by it and some love to take long relaxing walks and take photos there every morning.  Apart from the wonderful view of the beach, you will find secluded beaches and falls for people who wish to laze around, cool off and go swimming.  The waves from the sea are rarely large enough for traditional surfing, however, these conditions are just well suited for stand-up paddling, skin surfing, snorkelling and water-skiing.

There's also a lush rainforest nearby for many who like to walk or maybe mountain bike. The spot also offers numerous cliffs which are great for watching the stunning sky line and excellent spots for artists who wish to paint the field or perhaps bird watch.

People who have an interest in the animals of the area are easily treated to sightings of kangaroos and even emus that love to spend time on the meadow. For people who want a set trip, however, may join the Seals by Sea Tours located at Cape Bridgewater.  It’s the best opportunity to see and also interact with the more than 1000 Australian and New Zealand fur seals in their natural habitat; the seals are fairly used to the trips conducted in the neighborhood and exhibit lovely antics that are usually delightful to see.  While in the cruise trip, it’s also common to see dolphins gladly and speedily rushing the adventure boats.

Finding a lodging for the night or for a whole weekend isn't a challenge in Great Ocean Road; there are many charming little inns and stylish resorts spread all over the area.  For eco-tourists who prefer to coarse it out and really have an outback adventure, you can find nice campsites where they can set up tent and then spend the night.
